Tailgate Party

On November 7th the Shallowater Mustang football team will be hosting Abernathy for the last regular game of the season.  The youth at FUMC will be having a pre-game tailgate party at the church starting at 6:00 pm.  Tailgate trucks and chairs are welcome.  We invite everyone out to show their Mustang spirit and enjoy dinner with us!

Thanksgiving Lunch

The First United Methodist Youth Group would like to invite you to lunch at the Community Center on November 23rd immediately following church service.  Donations for this Thanksgiving lunch will be accepted in support of the upcoming youth activities and projects for 2009.  Come join us for a great time of food and fellowship!

Seeking Children's Ministry Team Leader

FUMC Shallowater is seeking to hire a Children's Ministry Team Leader.  This is a paid position that requires 10 hours a week.  The purpose of this job is to lead ministry and gather, equip and deploy a volunteer ministry team in order to provide the best ministry to our children and the children of this community.  This person would be working with children between the ages of 4 and 10 (thru 5th grade.)  They would be asked to coordinate special programs such as VBS, Christmas plays and Easter events.  If interested, please contact the church office @ 832-4424 or Kathy Timms @ 632-3987 for more information
